This finescale model of a GP-9 operates
on true diesel-electric principles. An O.S. model engine fueled by
nitro-meths drives a generator, which in turn drives coreless
traction motors mounted on each axle. Through radio control, an
electronic speed controller can be manipulated for realistic
operation. This model is amazingly quiet given the double muffler
system employed.
