This modification started out as a Merlin Mayflower. In addition to the new cab, a whistle was added using the unused channel on the R/C gear and an unused level plug on the backhead. (The whistle is a little "wet" in the beginning...) The late Grover Devine's SPC Merlin modification was the inspiration for me to attempt this conversion, but Grover's far exceeds mine in the good looks department. The tender is left over from a Maxwell Hemmens Porter.
