No. 9 stops to take on water while on temporary helper
service assigment on a particularly steep section of the author's
Lockstock & Barrel garden railroad. Only the most powerful
locomotives are assigned to this section! Though you would be hard
pressed to tell by looking, No. 9 is a splendidly Americanized
Roundhouse LADY ANNE, the subject of a series of articles authored by
Don Beach and currently running in SitG magazine.
