The first photo shows a demonstration unit built by Cheddar Models to demonstrate their "Automatic Boiler Control" module which senses boiler pressure and water level and regulates these by turning the burner on and off, and also the bypass valve for the water pump. The unit also includes Cheddar Models Gemini steam engine and (I think) their Version 2 horizontal boiler which powers a propeller in a small plastic tank (about two gallons) to provide a load for the engine.

On Thursday night a small band of Yanks seized the machine, replumbed the water lines from the tank (to protect the boiler and pump), added three pounds of frozen strawberrys, a fifth of tequilla, and a bag of ice to the tank and proceeded to make strawberry margaritas. Which were enjoyed by all who witnessed "the incident" (including JohnWoodroofe and Bruce Davey of Cheddar Models).
