Gary Broeder's open house on Tuesday was well attended and we had beautiful weather. Here are some more photos that highlight the day.

John Coughran's Roundhouse ARGYLL and a rake of nearly antique Aster gondolas creep through the rock quarry.

Barry Harper paces his radio controlled Aster Bayern locomotive on the long run out the end of Gary's line.

Norm Saley waits for pressure as Tom King looks on.

Clark Lord and Barry Harper manage the steamup bay as Barry prepares his Bayern for a run.

Clark's Catatonk Heisler ran beautifully, and he took the opportunity to pump up the boiler while I crawled around looking for the perfect angle to take a shot.

Clark and Tom reassemble a train, all the while discussing why the points were set the wrong way!

A Vest Pocket Climax plies the outer loop.

A lonely Cricket grinds down the grade.

Working the switchbacks. (There aren't any, but doesn't it look like it?)

Arroyo Grande... these structures are here for 1:1 scale serious run off... and they also happen to look great!

A view of the upper double track loop. Here a Hemmens Porter tiptoes up to the crossover.

Hauling the empties...

The best part of a good steamup.

Jim Overland inspects the equipment in array, and Rik Beeson prepares his railcar for a run.

John Coughran and his train working back up the grade.

John Coughran (right) cleaning up his coal fired Jack after a long run. Norm Saley (left) prepares his Pearse-based Consolidation for a run.

Panorama in steam.

Left to right, chunky, chunky, chunky, and chunky.

The look and and sound the best when they are working hard.

Another locomotive works the switchbacks.

Clark Lord's Aster Schools and a rake of coaches roars through the curve.

Clark got three full circuits out of one boiler fill.

Charging the viaduct.

A Wrightscale Porter hauls a rake of dumpies, seen here reballasting the main line.

Smoke and steam combine for a nice effect.

A scene befitting a plantation locomotive.
