This is a simple little program for those who don't need much to have fun. I wrote it so that I could watch steam trains go by on my computer. (This is the next best thing to running your own steam trains.)
This version contains three trains with an obvious bias towards the logging industry. In fact, these trains could be G-scale live-steam models running in your back yard.
The program runs under Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. I have not tested it under Windows 98.
The program minimizes itself and runs in the background. If you restore its window, you will see radio buttons which select where the trains will be displayed (top or bottom of the screen). Those are the only available options.
If you have any comments or questions you can e-mail me at: pbruneau@ctcentral.com.
Enjoy!
-------------- Known bugs/problems ---------------
1) The trains may look different on systems with different screen resolutions or different color depth.
2) Sometimes the screen may be redrawn with the wrong background after the train has gone by. This is more annoying than it is dangerous and can be fixed by restoring the program's window.
